Friends and Family - the SCVA tour had a very exciting and full Day 1, arriving in Munich after about 16 hours of travel time, we hopped on a big beautiful bus (driven by a wonderful German driver Wolfgang), and drove straight to Dachau (the flight and customs clearance went VERY quick!). Dachau was a sobering and impactful way to begin - somewhat overwhelming. The drive to Innsbruck was gorgeous, with perfect weather. We arrived at our Hotel Charlotte, refreshed, and took the tram into town for dinner! More updates tomorrow (WiFi permitting!).

Kevin, again I want to thank you for allowing my family to have some small connection to my daughter's European experience through this blog. I understand this puts a demand on your time that you wouldn't otherwise do while traveling! Thank you, thank you.

Kevin and Valerie - thanks for the update. You don't know how many times I have checked the blog. The scenary looks amazing and the girls look like they're having loads of fun, even the parents and coaches. I like that gansta picture at the gym.
